Which of these two DOMINATE TEAMS from the mid 80's is a bigger UNDERACHIEVER Chicago Bears or New York Mets?
* Underachiever by only winning only one world championship?
* Both teams were so dominate in a different level then the other teams in their respected leagues that they seemed primed to win a lot more championships then the one each won in their sports?
* Do you thing the Chicago Bears and New York Mets win more then the one championship they each won?
The Mets, they were talent laden, should have easily beat LA in '88. For 5 years they had the best team, and had only one championship to show for it. The Bears probably should have won more than one too, that '85 defense was the best ever, I think injuries play a bigger part in the NFL than MLB.
